Alice Winocour is a French screenwriter and director. She was born on 13 January 1976 in Paris and studied screenwriting at La Fémis.

She co-wrote the screenplay for *Mustang* (2015) with Deniz Gamze Ergüven, which won the César Award for Best Original Screenplay. Winocour has also written or co-written scripts for films including *Home* (2008) and *Ordinary People* (2009).

As a director, her feature films include *Augustine* (2012), *Disorder* (2015), *Proxima* (2019) and *Revoir Paris* (2022). She has received further recognition including a special mention at the Toronto International Film Festival for *Proxima*.
