## Biography

Alison Tafel is a writer and actor. She wrote for three seasons of the Netflix series *BoJack Horseman* (2017–2020), serving as staff writer and story editor. Her episode "The View From Halfway Down" received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program, and "Feel-Good Story" earned an Annie Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement for Writing in an Animated Television Production.

Tafel has also written for *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon* (2020) and *Twisted Metal* (2023–2025), on which she serves as co-producer. She created the 2025 television movie *Pulp*. In 2016 she was selected for the NBC Late Night Comedy Writers Workshop. She trained and performed with Second City Chicago, Upright Citizens Brigade Los Angeles, Improv Olympic Chicago and The Groundlings.
