Allan Jacobsen is an American director and animation professional. Born on 5 March 1970 in Brookhaven, New York, he began working on the animated series *King of the Hill* (1997) in roles including background layout artist, character designer, storyboard artist and assistant director before directing multiple episodes from 1999 onwards.

He has directed episodes of several animated series, including *Dora the Explorer* (2000), *Go, Diego! Go!* (2005), *Dawn of the Croods* (2015), *The Boss Baby: Back in Business* (2018) and *Spirit Riding Free* (2017).
