## Biography

Allen H. Miner was an American director and screenwriter. He directed episodes of numerous television series in the 1950s and 1960s, including *The Twilight Zone*, *Perry Mason*, *Mission: Impossible*, *Wagon Train* and *The Lawless Years*. He also directed feature films such as *Chubasco* (1968).

Miner served as a combat photographer during the Second World War. He studied at Yale University and later worked in both film and television, writing for several of the series he directed.
