## Biography

Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella is a Spanish playwright, screenwriter and director. Born in Madrid in 1988, she studied media and cinematography and completed a master's degree in theatre creation in 2016.

In 2015 she won the Calderón de la Barca National Theatre Prize for her play *Los amos del mundo*. Her screenwriting credits include two episodes of the Netflix series *Money Heist* in 2019. She has taken part in international residencies at the Royal Court Theatre in London and other institutions, and combines her writing with teaching and doctoral studies in literary studies.
