## Biography

Alton Walpole is a producer, line producer and unit production manager. He began his career in roles including grip, prop master, editor and cinematographer.

He edited and contributed to the screenplay of *Koyaanisqatsi* (1983), and later served as supervising producer on *Baraka* (1992). His producing credits include co-producer on *The Tao of Steve* (2000) and line producer or unit production manager on *Crazy Heart* (2009), *The Spirit* (2008), *Jane Got a Gun* (2015) and *Beyond the Reach* (2014).

Walpole is a member of the Directors Guild of America and owns Mountainair Films Inc. He is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
