Alva Chinn is an American actress and former fashion model. She played Diane in Sofia Coppola's *On the Rocks* (2020). Other film credits include *Trainwreck* (2015) as a benefit guest, *Great Expectations* (1998) as a gallery guest, *Regarding Henry* (1991) as a lawyer, *Torch Song Trilogy* (1988) as a photographer and *Bright Lights, Big City* (1988) as a runway model.

On television she has appeared in *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2005) as a courtroom spectator, *The Cosby Show* (1985–1989) in three episodes, and *Lifestories: Families in Crisis* (1994). She began modelling in the 1970s and was one of Halston's favoured models, known as the Halstonettes.
