## Biography

Alyson Fouse is an American screenwriter and producer. She was raised in Compton, California. She began her career submitting sketches to a Los Angeles radio programme and was hired as its first freelance writer. A sketch led to work on The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show.

Fouse wrote the screenplay for *Scary Movie 2* (2001) and several entries in the Bring It On direct-to-video series, including *Bring It On: All or Nothing* (2006), *Bring It On: In It to Win It* (2007) and *Bring It On: Fight to the Finish* (2009). On television she wrote episodes of *Everybody Hates Chris* (2005) and served as supervising producer or co-producer on nineteen episodes of the series. She has also written for *The Neighborhood*, *Big Shot* and *Good Times* (2024).

Fouse created the series *Act Your Age* (2023), on which she served as executive producer and showrunner.
