She is known for her performances as Lisa in *Fast Times at Ridgemont High* (1982), Tina Gray in *A Nightmare on Elm Street* (1984), Beth in *Better Off Dead* (1985) and Phoebe in *Silverado* (1985). On television she appeared in episodes of *Cheers* and had a supporting role as Randi McFarland in *Highlander: The Series* (1992–1993).
