Amedeo Pagani is an Italian film producer and screenwriter. He began his career writing screenplays in the early 1970s for films including *The Night Porter* (1974) and *I'm for the Hippopotamus* (1979), before moving into production in the late 1980s.

He has produced or co-produced numerous films, including *Landscape in the Mist* (1988), *Ulysses' Gaze* (1995), *Eternity and a Day* (1998) and *The Weeping Meadow* (2004) with Theo Angelopoulos, as well as *Garage Olimpo* (1999) and *Birdwatchers* (2008) with Marco Bechis, and the co-production *2046* (2004). In 2000 he founded the production company Classic Film.

Pagani has received David di Donatello and Nastro d'Argento nominations and awards for his producing work.
