Amina Robinson is an American actor, director and Associate Professor of Acting and Musical Theatre at Temple University. She graduated from the university with a B.A. and an M.F.A. in Theatre.

Robinson played Jermaine in the 2009 film *Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire*. Her other screen credits include recurring roles in *Nurse Jackie* (2010–2015) and *For Life* (2021), and appearances in *Law & Order* (2007–2024), *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2014), *5 to 7* (2014) and *The Harvest* (2013). On stage she has performed on Broadway in *Mamma Mia* and *Godspell*, and in national tours of those shows and *Little Shop of Horrors*.
