## Biography

Anderson Cooper is an American broadcast journalist and television presenter. He anchors the CNN news programme *Anderson Cooper 360°* and served as a correspondent for the CBS programme *60 Minutes* from 2006 to 2026. He is credited as Self (archive footage) on the documentary *The Armstrong Lie* (2013).

Cooper graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1989. He began his career in journalism with Channel One News before joining ABC News and then CNN in 2001. He has made numerous appearances as himself in films and television series, including *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice* (2016), *Chappie* (2015), *The Simpsons* and *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* (2022).
