André Carnège was a French actor born Eugène Alfred Cargemel on 20 December 1890 in Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle. He appeared in numerous films from the 1930s to the 1950s, often in supporting roles as officials, judges or military figures.

He is credited as Judge in *Orpheus* (1950) directed by Jean Cocteau. Other notable appearances include *Lady Killer* (1937) as Le capitaine de la garnison d'Orange, *Madame Sans-Gêne* (1941) as Savary, and *The Glass Castle* (1950) as Le secrétaire. Carnège died on 12 May 1969 in Lagny-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne.
