## Biography

André Nemec is an American screenwriter, television writer and producer. He frequently collaborates with writing partner Josh Appelbaum. Born in 1972 in Yonkers, New York, he attended Riverdale Country School with Appelbaum and later graduated from the University of Southern California.

Nemec began his career writing episodes of series including *Profiler*, *Early Edition* and *Fastlane*. He spent three years on *Alias* (2001), rising to co-executive producer under J. J. Abrams. He went on to co-create and executive produce ABC dramas *October Road* (2007), *Life on Mars* (2008) and *Happy Town* (2010), and the CBS series *Zoo* (2015).

His feature screenplays include *Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol* (2011), *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* (2014) and *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows* (2016). He has also served as executive producer on series such as the 2021 live-action *Cowboy Bebop*.
