## Biography

Andreas Wodraschke is a German film editor and composer. Born in 1969 in Munich, he studied audiovisual communication and art history in Salzburg before attending the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln from 1994 to 1998, where he specialised in music and film editing.

His first professional work was as editor and composer on Hans Weingartner's *Das weiße Rauschen* (2001). He has collaborated repeatedly with Weingartner, editing *Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei* (2004), *Free Rainer – Dein Fernseher lügt* (2007) and *Die Summe meiner einzelnen Teile* (2011). Wodraschke edited Haifaa al-Mansour's *Wadjda* (2012) and *The Perfect Candidate* (2019). Other credits include *Kriegerin* (2011), *Feuchtgebiete* (2013), *Er ist wieder da* (2015) and *Sonne und Beton* (2023).

He received the Preis der deutschen Filmkritik for best editing on *Dr. Alemán* (2008) and is a member of the Deutsche Filmakademie.
