Andrew Burt was an English actor and voice artist. He was born Andrew Thomas Hutchison Burt on 23 May 1945 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and died on 16 November 2018.

He trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama and began his career in repertory theatre. Burt is known for playing the original Jack Sugden in *Emmerdale Farm* (1972–73, with a return in 1976), Valgard in *Doctor Who* (1983), James Ackerley in *Agatha Christie's Poirot* (1991), and Frank Raphael in *I'm Alan Partridge* (1997–2002). His other television credits include *EastEnders*, *Spooks*, *The Day Today* and *Blake's 7*. He also worked extensively as a voice-over artist.
