## Biography

Andrew Doerfer is an American editor, director and producer. He began working in editorial roles in the late 1980s, serving as apprentice editor on *Signs of Life* (1989) and assistant editor on *Double Impact* (1991), before editing the feature film *Iron Will* (1994).

Doerfer has edited many television series, including *Murder One* (1995), *Desperate Housewives* (2004; 58 episodes from 2005 to 2012), on which he also directed two episodes, *Marvel's Agent Carter* (2015) and *Why Women Kill* (2019). He has additional producer credits on series such as *Big Apple* and *All Souls*.
