Andrew John Tait is a Scottish actor. He was born on 29 July 1979 in Murthly, Perthshire. He trained at Dundee College and Langside College Glasgow, graduating with a Diploma in Acting and Performance in 1999.

Tait has appeared in numerous British television series. His credits include Hanlon in *Outlander* (2020), Michael Stack in *Shetland* (2024), Neil MacKenzie in *Rebus* (2024), Sgt.
