## Biography

Andrew Lanham is an American film screenwriter. He began his career in the mid-2010s and is best known for his screenwriting collaborations with director Destin Daniel Cretton.

His credits include the screenplays for *The Shack* (2017), *The Glass Castle* (2017), *Just Mercy* (2019) and *Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings* (2021). He also wrote the screenplay and story for *The Kid* (2019). In 2010 he received an Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for his original script *The Jumper of Maine*.
