## Biography

Andrew Orenstein is a Canadian television writer and producer. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1992, he moved to Hollywood and joined the writing staff of the NBC series *3rd Rock from the Sun*, where he contributed to 100 episodes and rose to producer.

He later worked on Fox’s *Malcolm in the Middle* as a writer and co-executive producer for five seasons. Orenstein wrote episodes of *Everybody Hates Chris* and served as co-executive producer on the series. His other credits include writing for *Dr. Vegas* and creating the Canadian sitcom *Package Deal*. He has run Amazon’s *Just Add Magic* and co-created the Apple TV+ series *Ghostwriter*.
