Andrew Patterson is an American film director, writer and producer. Born in June 1982, he is based in Oklahoma, where he formed the production company GED Media and worked on commercials and promotional shorts.

His debut feature *The Vast of Night* (2019), which he also wrote (as James Montague), produced and edited (as Junius Tully), premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, where it won the Best Narrative Feature Audience Award. The film was later acquired by Amazon Studios. His second feature, *The Rivals of Amziah King* (2026), which he wrote and produced (as James Montague), premiered at South by Southwest in 2025.
