## Biography

Andrew Prowse was an Australian director, editor, writer and producer of film and television. He began his career as an editor and received a nomination for Best Editing at the 1986 AFI Awards for *Playing Beatie Bow*.

Prowse directed multiple episodes of *Farscape* (1999–2003), for which he also served in various production roles including associate producer, co-producer and producer. He directed 32 episodes of *Heartbreak High* (1994–1997) and episodes of series including *McLeod's Daughters*, *Underbelly*, *Rush* and *The Doctor Blake Mysteries*. He was co-producer of the 2014 telemovie *INXS: Never Tear Us Apart*.

Prowse died in December 2018.
