## Biography

Andy Wolton is a British writer and stand-up comedian. He created and wrote the Apple TV+ series *Trying* (2020–), in which he also served as executive producer. The relationship comedy stars Esther Smith and Rafe Spall.

His other television credits include writing an episode of *The Amazing World of Gumball* (2015), creating and writing *The Coopers vs the Rest* (2016), and contributing to panel shows such as *The Now Show* and *The News Quiz*. He has also worked as a storyline editor on *Lookalikes* (2016).
