Angela Alvarado, also credited as Angela Alvarado Rosa, is an American actress and director. She made her acting debut as Jan Larken in the *Miami Vice* episode 'Killshot' (1986). She has appeared in guest roles in television series including *Dexter* (2006) as Nina Batista, *Grey's Anatomy* (2021) as Marcella Diaz, *The Mentalist* (2015) as Detective Nieto, *Bones* (2013) as Dr Leticia Perez, *Grimm* (2012) and *S.W.A.T.* (2024) as Captain Olvera, as well as in films such as *Freedom Writers* (2007) and *Replicas* (2018).

Alvarado has directed music videos, including several for her husband, singer Draco Rosa, with whom she collaborated on the 2004 album *Mad Love*. They shared a Latin Grammy Award for the video 'Mas y Mas'. She is also credited with an ALMA Award nomination for her performance in the television film *Hollywood Confidential* (1997).
