Anita Dangler was an American actress. Born in Buffalo, New York, she appeared in numerous Broadway productions from the 1960s onwards, including roles and understudy parts in *The Man Who Came to Dinner* (1980), *Cyrano* (1973), *Trelawney of the 'Wells'* (1975) and *The Front Page* (1986).

Her screen credits include Mrs. Morganweiss in *The Goodbye Girl* (1977), Bag Lady in *The Fisher King* (1991), Mrs. Havacheck in *Hero at Large* (1980) and Usherette in *Brain Donors* (1992). She also made guest appearances on television series such as *Columbo*, *ER*, *7th Heaven*, *Kojak* and *Punky Brewster*.
