Anita W. Addison, also credited as Anita Laraine Wharton Addison, was an American television and film director and producer. Born on 6 September 1952 in Greensboro, North Carolina, she died on 24 January 2004 in New York City.

She directed episodes of series including *Knots Landing*, *Quantum Leap* (1991–1992), *Freddy's Nightmares* (1990), *ER* (1995), *EZ Streets* (1997) and *Judging Amy* (2000). Her television films include *There Are No Children Here* (1993) and *Deep in My Heart* (1999). She also directed the short film *Savannah* (1984), which received an Academy Award nomination.

Addison held executive positions at Lorimar, Warner Bros. Television and CBS, where she was vice president of drama development from 1995 to 1998. She produced episodes of *Sisters* and other series. Paul Haggis dedicated his film *Crash* (2004) to her.
