Anna Klassen is an American screenwriter. She wrote the screenplay for the 2026 romantic drama *The Last Sunrise*, directed by Carlson Young and adapted from the novel by Anna Todd.

Klassen previously worked as a journalist, writing for outlets including Newsweek, The Daily Beast and Bustle. She transitioned to screenwriting full time after her script *When Lightning Strikes* placed on the Black List in 2017 and she won the ScreenCraft Fellowship the same year. Her other credits include the features *A Time Lost* and *Dorothy and Alice*, as well as several adaptations in development for major studios.
