## Biography

Anna Savva is a British actress who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She has worked in theatre since the late 1970s, with early appearances at Theatro Technis in London and originating the role of Martha in the world premiere of Howard Brenton's *Jude* at Hampstead Theatre. She received a Time Out Best Actress nomination for playing Frida Kahlo in *Frida & Diego*.

On television she has appeared in *Minder*, *EastEnders*, *Prime Suspect*, *Planespotting*, *Casualty* and *Genius*. She played the series regular Lugaretzia across all four series of *The Durrells* (2016–2019) and Hortense LeRoux in *Death in Paradise* (2026). She also worked as a puppeteer on the 1986 film *Little Shop of Horrors*.
