## Biography

Anna Senior is an Australian costume designer. Born in Canberra in 1941, she worked in film and television from 1969 until her retirement in 2008.

She is known for her work on *My Brilliant Career* (1979), for which she received an Academy Award nomination and an AACTA Award, and on *Breaker Morant* (1980), which also won her an AACTA Award. Other credits include *The Getting of Wisdom* (1977), *Phar Lap* (1983) and several television miniseries.

In 2022 she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the visual arts through costume design.
