## Biography

Anne Renton is a film and television director. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Australian Directors' Guild.

She graduated from Sydney University with a B.S. in Physiotherapy. Renton directed the feature film *The Perfect Family* (2011), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, as well as the short film *Love Is Love*. She has directed episodes of series including *Bones* (2005), *The Good Doctor* (2017), *The Rookie* (2018), *The Resident* (2018), *MacGyver* (2016), *The Fosters* (2013) and *The Bold Type* (2017).

In 2023 she won the Directors Guild of America award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs for an episode of *Best Foot Forward*. Renton is a co-founder of the LGBTQ+ committee at the DGA.
