## Biography

Anne Sarraute (1930–2008) was a French film editor. She worked as an assistant editor on Agnès Varda's *La Pointe Courte* (1955) and Alain Resnais's *Night and Fog* (1956), and as editor on Resnais's *All the World's Memory* (1956) and *Letter from Siberia* (1958). She was one of the editors, alongside Henri Colpi and Jasmine Chasney, on Resnais's *Hiroshima Mon Amour* (1959).

She later served as editor on Jacques Cousteau's *World Without Sun* (1964). Sarraute was the daughter of writer Nathalie Sarraute. From 1966 until her death she worked as secretary of the editorial board at the literary review *La Quinzaine littéraire*.
