## Biography

Anne Tait is a Canadian producer, casting director, writer and broadcaster. Based in Toronto, she has worked extensively in film, television and theatre.

She produced the Canada-China co-production *Iron Road* (2009) and has casting credits on films including *Screamers* (1995), *Death Wish V: The Face of Death* (1994), *The Amityville Curse* (1990) and *Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol* (1987). She appeared as a storyteller in Sarah Polley's documentary *Stories We Tell* (2012).

Tait has written and directed for the stage, CBC Radio and television. Her play *Yeats in Love* was produced in Toronto, Dublin and on tour. She has received an Emmy nomination and the Female Eye Film Festival's Maverick Award for career achievement.
