## Biography

Anne Wiazemsky was a French actress and novelist. Born in Berlin in 1947, she made her screen debut playing Marie in Robert Bresson's *Au Hasard Balthazar* (1966).

She married director Jean-Luc Godard in 1967 and appeared in several of his films, including *La Chinoise* (1967), *Weekend* (1967), *Sympathy for the Devil* (1968) and *Tout Va Bien* (1972).
