Annie Ross (born Annabelle McCauley Allan Short) was a British-born American actress and singer. She began performing as a child, appearing in the Our Gang short *Our Gang Follies of 1938* (1937) and *Presenting Lily Mars* (1943).

Her film roles include Vera Webster in *Superman III* (1983), Mrs Hazeltine in *Throw Momma from the Train* (1987), Loretta Creswood in *Pump Up the Volume* (1990), Tess Trainer in *Short Cuts* (1993), and Lydia in *Blue Sky* (1994). She also provided uncredited voice work, including for Britt Ekland in *The Wicker Man* (1973). Ross was best known as a member of the jazz vocal trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, and was married to actor Sean Lynch from 1963 to 1977.
