## Biography

Anthony Fabian is a British director, writer and producer of feature films, documentaries and shorts. He graduated from UCLA’s Film & Television School and has been based in London since the late 1980s.

His feature films include *Skin* (2008), which he also wrote and produced and which won 22 international awards; *Louder Than Words* (2013); and *Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris* (2022), for which he served as director, co-writer and producer. He has also directed documentaries and classical music programmes through his company Elysian Films.

Fabian grew up in Mexico City, Paris and London, and holds Hungarian citizenship through his mother’s side. He was the civil partner of conductor Christopher Hogwood until shortly before Hogwood’s death in 2014.
