## Biography

Anthony Palk (1939–1998) was a British film editor and sound editor. He began his career in the 1960s working as an editor on British television series including *The Avengers* and *Secret Agent*, and on feature films such as *The Pleasure Girls* (1965) and *All Coppers Are...* (1972).

After moving to the United States, Palk focused on sound editing. His credits include sound editor on *Platoon* (1986) and *Bloodsport* (1988), supervising sound editor on *Under the Volcano* (1984) and *Twister* (1989), and sound effects editor on *Death Warrant* (1990). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding film sound editing for a series. Palk was married to Elaine Carr.
