## Biography

Anthony Spinner (4 April 1930 – 8 February 2020) was an American television writer and producer. Born in New York City, he worked extensively in episodic television from the 1960s onwards.

He wrote episodes of series including *The Invaders* (1967), *The Name of the Game* (1969) and *Kojak* (1977). Spinner also produced *The Man from U.N.C.L.E.* (1967–68) and served as executive producer on *Baretta* (1975–76), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination. Other credits include creating the series *Deadly Games* (1995–96) and writing for *Cannon*, *The F.B.I.* and *The Banana Splits Adventure Hour*.
