## Biography

Anthony Terpiloff (1929–1978) was an American television writer who worked extensively on British series from the early 1960s until his death. He contributed scripts to *The Avengers* (1961), including the episodes 'The Sell-Out' (1962, with Brandon Brady) and 'Man in the Mirror' (1963, with Geoffrey Orme).

Terpiloff wrote five episodes for the science-fiction series *Space: 1999* (1975–1976), some in collaboration with his wife Elizabeth Barrows, and episodes for *Ironside* (1967), *The Alfred Hitchcock Hour* (1965) and *The Protectors* (1973). He also wrote the television play *Poet Game* (1971). He died in Abergavenny, Wales.
