## Biography

Antonia Pemberton is a British actress. Born in 1927 in Margate, Kent, she appeared in supporting roles in British film and television from the mid-1960s onwards.

She played Mrs. Turton in David Lean's *A Passage to India* (1984). Her television credits include Olive Martel in the series *Enemy at the Door* (1978–1980), Mrs. Dawson in the miniseries *Little Lord Fauntleroy* (1980), and Mrs. Longhurst in *The Naked Civil Servant* (1975). She also appeared in episodes of *Agatha Christie's Poirot*, *Lovejoy* and *The Bill*.

Pemberton performed in several stage productions, including Alan Ayckbourn's *House and Garden* at the Stephen Joseph Theatre and a Royal National Theatre production of *Richard III*.
