## Biography

Antonio Pierfederici (1919–1999) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Born in La Maddalena, Sardinia, he graduated in law before enrolling at the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome.

He began his stage career in 1943 and worked extensively in theatre, appearing in productions directed by Luchino Visconti, Giorgio Strehler and Orazio Costa. His film roles include Lord Montague in *Romeo and Juliet* (1968), a priest in *Black Sunday* (1960) and Oscar in *Totò, Peppino e... la dolce vita* (1961). He also appeared in *Otello* (1986) and several television productions.
