## Biography

April Kelly is an American television writer and producer. She co-created the sitcoms *Boy Meets World* (1993–2000) and *Girl Meets World* (2014–2017) with Michael Jacobs.

Kelly began her career writing for *Mork & Mindy* and *Happy Days*. She later worked as a producer on series including *Love, Sidney*, *9 to 5* and *Teachers Only*, and wrote several made-for-television films. She studied at the University of South Florida and trained in homeopathic medicine in England between 1987 and 1991.

She has also written mystery novels, one of which received a Shamus Award nomination. Kelly has lived on a farm in Tennessee since 2000.
