## Biography

Arad Sawat is an Israeli production designer. He began working in television in 1996 as a props man and stylist, later becoming a set designer for drama series and commercials in the late 1990s. He moved into feature film production design in 2011.

His film credits include *Footnote* (2011), *Big Bad Wolves* (2013), *The Farewell Party* (2014), *A Tale of Love and Darkness* (2015), *Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer* (2016), *Foxtrot* (2017), *Beirut* (2018) and *Golda* (2023). He has also worked on television series such as *Our Boys* (2019) and *Absentia*.

Sawat is a three-time winner of the Ophir Award for Best Artistic Design, for *Footnote*, *Big Bad Wolves* and *Foxtrot*.
