Arié Elmaleh is a French-Moroccan actor. He was born on 7 January 1975 in Casablanca, Morocco, and is the brother of comedian Gad Elmaleh.

He trained at the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris and at the Studio d'Asnières. Elmaleh made his feature film debut in *Change-moi ma vie* (2001). He appeared in *Chouchou* (2003) and took the lead role in *L'école pour tous* (2006), for which he received a César nomination for Most Promising Actor.

His other film credits include *Molière* (2007), *Depression and Friends* (2012), *The Brats* (2013) and *Animal Kingdom: Let's Go Ape* (2015). He provided a voice for the animated film *Persepolis* (2007).
