Ariel Ladensohn is a writer and producer working primarily in animated television. Born in Los Angeles in 1987, she studied playwriting at Yale University and began her career as a playwright before moving into television writing.

She has written episodes of *Futurama* (2023–), *Solar Opposites* (2020–2021), *Hazbin Hotel* (2024) and earlier children's series including *My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic*. On the Hulu revival of *Futurama* she has also served as producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer. She previously worked under the name Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim.

Ladensohn is the daughter of actress Cybill Shepherd. She received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for the *Futurama* episode "I Know What You Did Next Xmas".
