Armand Henri Julien Thirard was a French cinematographer. Born on 25 October 1899 in Mantes-la-Jolie, he died on 12 November 1973 in Colombes.

He began his career as an actor before becoming a cinematographer in 1926. Thirard worked on more than 120 films, including *The Wages of Fear* (1953), *Diabolique* (1955), *...And God Created Woman* (1956), *The Truth* (1960) and *Jenny Lamour* (1947). He collaborated frequently with directors Henri-Georges Clouzot and Julien Duvivier.
