## Biography

Arnab Chanda is a British actor, writer and director. Born in Pontefract, England, he left at the age of six and grew up in Saudi Arabia and the United States. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 and began performing stand-up comedy in New York before moving to London in 2004.

He appeared as Edward in the BAFTA-nominated film *Black Pond* (2011). His other acting credits include Raj Puri in the series *Trinity* (2009), Ned in *Hunderby* (2012), Danny Bullet in *Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy* (2014), and Guru in *Benjamin* (2019). He also voiced Chuck in the YouTube series *Angry Birds on the Run* (2018–2020).

Chanda performed stand-up on several BBC and Comedy Central shows before stopping in 2010. He has written for *Never Mind the Buzzcocks* and *How Not to Live Your Life*, and produced BBC Radio Comedy series between 2013 and 2016.
