## Biography

Art Monterastelli is an American writer and producer. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and San Francisco State University, graduating with an honours degree in English literature.

His television credits include story and teleplay on the NYPD Blue episode 'True Confessions' (1993). He created the series Total Recall 2070 (1999) and contributed to series including seaQuest DSV (1993), High Incident (1996–1997) and Timecop (1997–1998).

Feature film credits include the screenplay for The Hunted (2003), which he also co-produced, and co-writing the screenplay for Rambo (2008) with Sylvester Stallone. He wrote and directed the short film Working Stiffs (1994) and executive produced the documentary No Subtitles Necessary: Laszlo and Vilmos (2008).
