Arthur Phillips is an American novelist and television writer. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on 23 April 1969, he was educated at Harvard University, where he received a BA in history.

His novels include *Prague* (2002), *The Egyptologist* (2004), *Angelica* (2007), *The Song Is You* (2009), *The Tragedy of Arthur* (2011) and *The King at the Edge of the World* (2020). On television he has written episodes of *Damages* (2012), *Bloodline* (2015–2017) and *Tokyo Vice* (2022), and has also worked as a producer on the latter two series.
