## Biography

Arthur Sharpe is a British film and television composer. While studying at Edinburgh University he began writing music for Cambridge Footlights productions, including the sketch show *Grow Up*. He later contributed to the soundtrack for the feature film *Black Pond* (2011).

Sharpe is known for his scores for the BBC series *Ghosts* (2019–), the Channel 4 series *Flowers* (2016–2018) and the HBO/Sky Atlantic series *Landscapers* (2021). His other credits include the feature film *The Electrical Life of Louis Wain* (2021), the series *Guilt* (2019–2023) and *The Following Events Are Based on a Pack of Lies* (2023), and *Prime Target* (2025). He frequently collaborates with his brother, director Will Sharpe.

Sharpe has won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for Original Music for *Landscapers*, two Ivor Novello Awards for Best Television Soundtrack, and an RTS Craft & Design Award for *Flowers*.
