Artie Butler (also credited as Arthur Butler) is an American composer, arranger, songwriter and session musician. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career in the 1950s and 1960s in New York, working in the Brill Building and arranging numerous hit records.

In film, Butler contributed to the music for *Annie Hall* (1977), *The Rescuers* (1977), for which he composed the original score, *What's Up, Doc?* (1972) and *Grease 2* (1982), where he served as conductor. He has received three Primetime Emmy nominations for his television work.
